The Simo Solar Park is Lapland’s first utility-scale solar park and one of the largest solar power projects in Finland. Solarigo is responsible for the project’s EPC delivery as well as the long-term operations and maintenance of the solar park.

The project combines large-scale solar energy production with existing wind power infrastructure, forming a hybrid power plant that supports Finland’s energy transition and improves renewable energy self-sufficiency.

As part of the long-term O&M agreement, Solarigo provides comprehensive operational management, monitoring, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle services to ensure high performance, reliable production, and long-term asset value.

The 70 MWp solar park includes approximately 120,000 solar panels across a project area of around 70 hectares. Annual production is estimated at approximately 65,000 MWh.
