Project description
Solarigo Systems Oy is planning a solar park with approximately 8,500 solar panels in Rantasalmi, near Rantasalmi station. The solar park project area spans 9 hectares. The planned total power of the solar park is 5.2 MWp. The solar park is designed to produce renewable solar electricity, which is sold directly to the electricity grid. The target date for the construction of the solar park is Summer 2025.

Permit processing and environmental assessments
The building permit has been approved, and the project is ready to start in late 2025.
Q4/2023
Land lease agreement
The municipality of Rantasalmi and Solarigo Systems Oy signed a 40-year land lease agreement for the construction of a solar power park. The area is approximately 9 hectares in size.
Q3/2023
Development
The Rantasalmi solar park project has progressed in cooperation with Solarigo Systems Oy and the municipality of Rantasalmi. Solarigo approached the municipality intending to identify a suitable land area for a solar park. The municipality of Rantasalmi proposed the specified terrain near the station as the project area.
