Project description
Suur-Savon Sähkö is building an 8,8 MWp solar power park in Pertunmaa, aiming to establish a research, development, and innovation center focused on the production, utilization, and storage of solar energy. Solarigo Systems Oy is the designer and EPC constructor of the solar park, and project company Järvi-Suomen Aurinko Oy is the owner. The park will be built in Pertunmaa, Kuortti area.
In the project, to support future research, an interface will be created in the panel field to share the data it produces with external stakeholders. Educational institutions and expert organizations can utilize the data to foster the development of the solar electricity industry in Finland. The solar park is designed to demonstrate various technical solutions for enhancing the production of solar electricity. The goal is also to develop multiple battery solutions, with electrical energy storage playing a crucial role in the project.
Lumme Energia is responsible for selling the solar electricity produced by the park.
