Project description
The Finnish renewable energy developer Skarta Energy Oy has built a 5 MWp solar park in Pälkäne. Solarigo Systems Oy was responsible for the design, construction, and initial maintenance of the solar park. The park consists of approximately 8,800 bifacial solar panels and was completed in August 2024.

Supplier selection
Solarigo visits the project site in Pälkäne. Skarta chooses Solarigo as the designer, constructor, and initial stage operator of the solar park.
Q4/2023
Design
Solarigo initiates the detailed technical planning of the solar park and the project implementation planning. Solarigo makes a site visit.
Q1/2024
Earthworks
Solarigo is starting the necessary earthworks in the area. The land will be leveled and drained with ditches.
Q4/2024
Rack installation
Solarigo begins installing solar panel racks.
Q2/2024
Panel installation
Solarigo begins the solar panel installation.
Q3/2024
Commissioning
Pälkäne’s 5 MWp PV park was commissioned on schedule in August 2024.
Q3/2024
Handover to Skarta
Solarigo delivered an EPC solution and transferred ownership of the PV park to Skarta Energy Oy in September 2024.
