BoP and EPC deliveries & smart energy storage for solar parks
Utility-Scale Solar Parks
Solarigo is the only partner in Finland handling EPC deliveries, operation, maintenance, and electricity sales of solar parks entirely with its own team.
What we offer
Many EPCs hand you a park. We help uncover, shape and deliver the business case behind it. Every Solarigo project is optimized for output, reliability and bankability.
What does Solarigo do
We do it all — we develop, build & operate
Since 2015, we have developed and delivered solar parks in Finland for project developers, energy companies, industry, municipalities, and for our own portfolio. For green energy investors, we offer ready-to-operate solar parks and projects with turnkey delivery.
In solar park projects, we operate across all phases throughout the entire lifecycle: from project development, BoP (Balance of Plant) and full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) delivery, to operation and maintenance services.
We also specialize in hybrid solar-plus-energy storage solutions and smart market operations in Fingrid’s reserve markets.

Four reasons to choose Solarigo
01
Solar that performs in your spreadsheet and on site.
We don’t just build projects. We build long-term value for investors who want predictable returns, technical excellence and a partner with real skin in the game.
02
We don’t deliver projects. We deliver performing assets.
Many EPCs hand you a park. We help uncover, shape and deliver the business case behind it. Every Solarigo project is optimised for output, reliability and bankability – just like we’ve done for our own investments.
03
Every project we deliver is one we could own ourselves
We apply the same rigorous standards and transparent cost control to customer projects as we do to our own. That means performance simulations grounded in operational data, financial modeling investors can trust, and ESG documentation that holds up to institutional scrutiny.
04
We know how to build solar business – not just megawatts
Others deliver projects, we deliver yield. Our background as both EPC and IPP gives us unique insight into how to improve IRR, optimize LCOE, and keep production stable over time. It’s all about building what pays back the best.
Technical and Commercial Management
Let us maximize the value of your solar investment
Our core is to take care of your solar assets from day one to year thirty: we’ll manage the full lifecycle of your solar PV plant.
Solarigo delivers full-scope lifecycle and technical and commercial management (TCM) services for utility-scale solar parks, including plant operations, production monitoring, smart market participation, and technical maintenance.
Our experienced team ensures your solar asset runs at peak performance reliably, efficiently, and hands-off.

Backed by a strong energy group
Solarigo is part of the Suur-Savon Sähkö Group
Suur-Savon Sähkö is one of the largest energy companies in Finland. It is a locally owned energy group based in the Finnish lake region, working to maintain and strengthen local vitality.
The business areas of Suur-Savon Sähkö include electricity distribution, district heating, and electricity sales. In addition, new business operations have been launched in the field of smart maintenance and fault detection for electricity networks. Suur-Savon Sähkö owns the Kissakoski and Vaajakoski hydropower plants. The company also owns electricity production assets elsewhere in Finland, as well as in Sweden and Norway.
With 600 employees and major clean energy investments, the group builds a strong foundation for a sustainable future.
Bankable solar for the North
You don’t get long-term results from short-term thinking
With us, you get one partner, full accountability and a project that performs like it was built for our own portfolio.
We understand Finnish conditions: frozen ground, regulatory detail, local grid complexity. It’s why our timelines are realistic, and our production forecasts hold up. Experience here isn’t a bonus, it’s the baseline.
We manage the entire lifecycle in-house: development, engineering, construction and operations. That means fewer interfaces, faster decisions and real visibility: from day one to year thirty.
Frequently asked questions
All on utility-scale solar
We deliver large-scale solar park projects: we have implemented parks with capacities of several tens of megawatts and are involved in planning projects of several hundred megawatts. We have repeatedly gained experience from Finland’s largest solar park projects.
In addition, we provide asset management, lifecycle services, and O&M for solar parks of all sizes.
One of our largest projects is the 70 MWp solar park in Simo, along with a 15-year operation and maintenance contract.
The profitability of a solar park is based on cost-efficient construction, stable electricity production, and diversified revenue streams.
On the construction side, the key is to build cost-effectively while ensuring high quality and applying the latest technologies. On the production side, profitability depends on factors such as the market price of electricity, long-term PPAs, and opportunities to benefit from reserve markets and energy storage.
In today’s market environment, project success requires optimizing the entire value chain – electricity production alone is not enough.
Solarigo supports its customers in ensuring that the park delivers competitive electricity while also maximizing returns from all available market opportunities.
Solar parks are connected either to the national transmission grid or to the local distribution network. Customers can access solar power through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), which offer stability and predictability for decades ahead.
The greatest – and often underestimated – risk is investing significant time and resources into a project whose financial foundation is ultimately too weak. One well-developed project is worth far more than ten mediocre ones.
The cost level of a solar power plant is not determined by panel and inverter prices alone; the real cost is largely driven by infrastructure construction, which can vary greatly depending on the site.
That is why experience and specialized solar expertise are critical. We mitigate risks through careful project development, technical design, and long-term contractual models. As an EPC provider, we implement projects with the same cost discipline as our own investments: every project could fit into our own portfolio.
Planned legislative changes are making permitting increasingly challenging. Building on agricultural land and forests is becoming more restricted, shifting the focus to wasteland and peatland sites, which are often more expensive and technically complex. For this reason, launching projects now is clearly more advantageous than waiting.
We provide comprehensive asset management services for solar parks, including plant operation, administrative management, production monitoring, performance optimization, preventive maintenance, and market operations. This ensures predictable returns and a profitable investment for the customer.
Yes. Increasingly, we deliver projects where a battery storage system is integrated with the solar park to optimize production and enable participation in the transmission system operator’s reserve markets.
We don’t just build solar parks – we deliver profitable investment opportunities. As Finland’s most experienced solar park developer and market leader, we have implemented the country’s largest solar power project multiple times.
Instead of dealing with five subcontractors, with Solarigo you get one accountable partner who takes responsibility from start to finish: we provide the full chain from project development and EPC delivery to asset management services – all under one roof. With us, you have one partner, no excuses. That means a true sense of control, transparent costs, and accountability that doesn’t vanish.
We also manage our own parks, so we deliver more than just megawatts from a power plant.
