Invest in sustainability and stable energy costs
Self-Owned Solar Plant for Businesses
Solarigo offers effortless turnkey solar power plant solutions for companies that want to invest in a strong sustainability message, better budgeting and improved energy efficiency.
What we offer
Your business’s solar plant delivered efficiently by one local team. An owned solar plant lowers your energy and transmission costs while turning sustainability into a visible part of your brand.
Why choose an owned solar plant for your business?
Tailored renewable energy
Solarigo delivers solar PV systems under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) model – fully invested and owned by you. The system is sized so that most of the electricity is consumed on-site, ensuring maximum profitability.
Turnkey and sustainable
We design, build, and maintain your solar plant hassle-free. Our solutions support your ESG goals and meet growing stakeholder expectations on sustainability.
Visible responsibility
With an owned solar plant, responsibility becomes tangible – a clear signal to customers and stakeholders. It’s an investment that also strengthens your brand.
Made for the North
We understand the Finnish climate and building stock. You get a safe, efficient solar plant built to last for decades – without straining your own resources.
Solar power is, for us, reasonably priced and entirely fossil-free. Adopting solar energy lowers the company’s energy costs, and there are no transmission fees to pay. We approached the matter from the perspectives of cost, quality and sustainability.

Is a solar power plant profitable solution for a business?
Location
The geographical location of a solar PV system significantly impacts profitability. In Finland, production can vary by around 20% depending on location.
The main factor is snow coverage on panels. Location also affects irradiation levels, with the best conditions found along the southern and western coasts. With the right system sizing, solar is financially viable across the country.
System price
The cost of a solar panel system consists of components, logistics, design, and installation. For systems delivered by Solarigo, the typical payback time is 8–13 years.
In addition to the initial investment, maintenance and service costs must be considered. Customers can outsource maintenance to our professional service team.
System sizing
Correct system sizing is crucial for profitability. Electricity should be maximized for on-site use, rather than oversold to the grid.
On-site consumption saves not only the energy price but also transmission fees and electricity tax. Selling to the grid usually only provides the spot market price. Solarigo designs systems so that customers can consume most of the production themselves.
Electricity price
A solar plant typically replaces 10–20% of purchased grid electricity. The cost of grid electricity includes energy, transmission, and taxes. For solar electricity used on-site, no transmission fees are paid, and no electricity tax is applied if annual production remains below 800 MWh.
It’s important to consider which electricity costs are being replaced. Since electricity is most expensive during daytime hours – when solar panels also generate the most – solar aligns well with cost savings.

The typical payback period for our deliveries is around 8–13 years.
Rooftop installations are generally the most cost-effective. Solar panels can be mounted on both flat and pitched roofs, on any roof surface.
Wall-mounted installations are a striking solution, well suited for building façades. However, they take longer to install, which increases costs.
Ground-mounted installations are ideal for large solar PV systems, provided there is suitable land available near the property. These systems can be installed on flat or leveled land, as well as on slopes.
