Construction started for a 35 MWp Hybrid Energy Park in Hanko
Solarigo Systems Oy has signed an agreement with Endra AS, a Norwegian renewable energy company, to deliver a 35 MWp PV + 5 MW BESS utility-scale hybrid solar park in Hanko, Finland.
Solarigo will act as the full EPC contractor of the hybrid park.
The project is already under way and is scheduled for completion during 2028.
The project site was previously used to store vehicles, making it an excellent example of how solar power can give already developed land a new purpose.
Located on the Hanko Peninsula, the solar park benefits from some of the highest levels of solar irradiation in Finland. Once operational, it is expected to generate approximately 35 GWh of renewable electricity annually.

As the full EPC contractor, Solarigo Systems Oy will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of the solar park.
The project plans also includes a 5 MW / 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The storage solution expands the solar park into a hybrid energy facility, increasing its operational flexibility and enabling more versatile use of the renewable electricity produced.
