Solarigo signs long-term O&M agreement for CPC Finland’s 32 MWp Lakari solar park

Solarigo has signed a long-term Operation & Maintenance (O&M) agreement for one of Finland’s largest solar parks: the Lakari solar park in Rauma, owned by CPC Finland. The agreement covers the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the solar power plant.

The Lakari solar park has a capacity of 32 megawatts peak (MWp) and spans approximately 40 hectares, comprising more than 58,000 solar panels. It is one of the largest utility-scale solar projects in Finland, and the partnership further strengthens Solarigo’s position as a leading provider of solar O&M services.

Under the agreement, Solarigo is responsible for the plant’s daily operations, technical maintenance, and performance monitoring. The objective is to ensure high availability, safe operation, and optimized energy production throughout the plant’s lifecycle.

“We have been operating and maintaining solar power plants in Finland since 2016, and today we manage over 270 solar PV systems, including 13 utility-scale solar parks across the country. Our total maintained capacity exceeds 150 MWp and is expected to grow to around 200 MWp by 2026. This experience has shown us that the key is not individual maintenance actions, but ensuring that the entire plant operates reliably and predictably. Our strength lies in taking full responsibility for this whole. We combine maintenance, monitoring, and operational development into one seamless service,” says Eero Yliselä, Head of Asset Management at Solarigo Systems Oy.

Solarigo’s O&M teams operate across Finland, enabling rapid response times at all maintenance sites.

The market for solar O&M services is evolving rapidly, with varying service models across providers. Solarigo’s approach is based on full-scope responsibility, offering customers all the services needed for efficient and reliable plant operation through a single partner.

“In projects like the Lakari solar park, which rely on long-term project financing, having a reliable partner capable of managing the full scope is essential. After evaluating the Finnish O&M market for PV projects, Solarigo’s ownership structure, track record, service team, and strong commitment to continuous service development were key factors in our selection,” said Erik Trast, CEO of CPC Finland.

Solarigo has extensive experience in operating and maintaining both commercial and utility-scale solar power plants. The Lakari project continues this development and further strengthens Solarigo’s role as a long-term partner in solar energy production.
