Solarigo is now responsible for O&M of around 50% of Finland’s utility-scale solar capacity

Solarigo is now responsible for the operations and maintenance of more than 450 MWp of solar capacity. Covering both utility-scale solar parks and commercial and industrial solar power plants, this portfolio strengthens Solarigo’s position as Finland’s market leader in solar park operations and maintenance.
Solarigo has Finland’s largest solar O&M contract portfolio. Its utility-scale solar portfolio totals 416.7 MWp, representing nearly 50% of Finland’s 842 MW of utility-scale solar capacity.
Solarigo’s operations and maintenance services cover preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. As a long-term O&M partner for solar parks, Solarigo helps ensure that plants operate safely, reliably and efficiently throughout their lifecycle.
– Our extensive O&M contract portfolio reflects our customers’ trust in us to safeguard the long-term performance of even the largest solar investments. As the market grows, professional operations and maintenance play an increasingly important role, says Eero Yliselä, Director, Asset Management at Solarigo.
Preventive maintenance safeguards returns on solar investments
A solar power plant is a long-term investment whose profitability depends on delivering the expected energy output over decades. Even individual faults, deviations or prolonged downtime can affect the output of a large solar park. Regular preventive maintenance is therefore an essential part of safe and profitable plant operations.
Preventive maintenance helps identify and resolve potential faults before they significantly affect energy production. Corrective maintenance ensures a rapid response when issues are detected. Together, these measures help maintain high plant availability, minimise production losses and protect the long-term value of the investment.
– A solar park investment does not end when construction is complete. The energy it produces over the following decades ultimately determines the success of the investment. Our role is to ensure that the plant remains safe and productive throughout its operational life, Yliselä continues.
Solarigo has more than ten years of experience in operating and maintaining solar power plants in Finland. Its services for solar power plants and solar parks range from individual maintenance tasks to comprehensive technical and commercial management.
