PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Solarigo Systems Oy is planning a solar park with approximately 8,500 solar panels in Rantasalmi, near Rantasalmi station. The size of the solar park project area is 9 hectares. Planned total power of the solar park is 5.2 MWp. The solar park is supposed to produce renewable solar electricity to be sold directly to the electricity grid. Summer 2025 is the target date for the construction of the solar park.

The Rantasalmi solar park project has progressed in cooperation with Solarigo Systems Oy and the municipality of Rantasalmi. Solarigo approached the municipality with the intention of finding out a land area suitable for a solar park. The municipality of Rantasalmi proposed the specified terrain near the station as the project area.

Land lease agreement
The municipality of Rantasalmi and Solarigo Systems Oy signed a 40-year land lease agreement for the construction of a solar power park. The size of the area is about 9 hectares.
